"The most important thing in art is the frame," Frank Zappa once said. I wouldn't go that far, but since we design beautiful Berlin posters at s.wert, it was high time* to deal with frames.
The research for the right frame was extensive and intensive. We have put together the best variants from the almost endless possibilities and now the posters are available in our shop perfectly framed.
Our favorite are the narrow aluminum frames in DinA2 and DinA3. The colorful retro posters come into their own in the champagne shade – an elegant metallic frame that oscillates between gold and copper. Fits perfectly in hyygge living rooms decorated in Scandinavian or Boho style. For motifs with clear lines and black and white prints, we recommend the elegant black aluminum frames. The minimalist motifs go particularly well with modern home furnishings with selected designer pieces. If you want the posters to be framed in a modern and unobtrusive way, we recommend aluminum frames in white or silver.
The luxury variant made of white poplar wood frame and bevel cut passe-partout makes the DinA2 poster appear larger, but it also has its price.
All the frames that we offer are interchangeable glass frames that can be easily opened and closed with spring holders if – which we hope not – the motif should change.
